Reflecting on Interfaith Week 2020

2020’s Interfaith Week was somewhat different from previous years, with all of our events happening virtually as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. If you missed any of the events there is some additional information on all that has happened below where you can even watch back some of those events.

Sunday 8th – Compline (Evening Prayer) – Hosted by the Christian Community. You can watch a recording of this event via our YouTube Channel.

Monday 9th – Faith & The Environment – Hosted by the Christian Community. You can view and download the slides from the Catholic presentation via our Google Drive. A copy of the Quaker presentation is also available here.

Tuesday 10th – Interfaith Quiz Night – Hosted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. You can see a copy of the questions here, or if you want a copy of the questions alongside the answers click here.

Wednesday 11th – No Event. Although we had no event, our Social Media and Communications Secretary took a few moments to share some thoughts and a prayer on the theme of peace; you can watch this here.

Thursday 12th – Muslim Sufi Devotional Hosted by the Muslim Community. You can watch a recording of this event via our YouTube Channel; a translation of key phrases is available here.

Friday 13th – Rally of Hope – Hosted by the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification. At this event, we joined the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification in watching extracts from the recent ‘Rally of Hope’ conference. You can watch those same highlights here. Saturday 14th – No EventSunday 15th – Inspirational Film Night – Hosted by Swindon Interfaith and the Swindon Baha’i Community. You can watch a recording of this event via our YouTube Channel.
